I looked out this window before I ever understood the cost of unexpectedly falling in real love.
Before promises believed to be real.
Before waiting.
Before love became tangled with money.
And I wonder now how love, trust and money ever became tied together.
My values have never been rooted in money. They have always been rooted in love, kindness, honesty and how we choose to treat one another.
What happens when you reach a point where you can no longer afford to keep proving a love you never thought needed proving?
When you realize how much you have already given, while still wondering why love and trust seem to require more?
Sometimes life brings you back to the person you were before all of the complications β the one who laughed, traveled, and believed in endless possibilities.
Maybe it is simply remembering that money should never be required to prove that love and trust are real.
